This university, currently in construction, will have a vocation to exchange knowledge via a place, a structure on Second Life with a huge potential. In order to do that, Wex calls on the skills of specialists in Real Life. Digitals engineers, graphic designers, programmers, etc. have agreed with the project.

In first time, Wexler University’s teaching will focuses on different scientific domains. This teaching in “conferences” form presented by competent people in RL wants to be the continuum of distance learning but in a completely new technological form combining real and virtual.

Wexler University wants to engage real professional’s services in order to obtain recognition and validation. WU plans the creation of the Higher Council of Checking (Conseil Supérieur de Vérification) to prevent excess from getting out of control.

WU wishes to open up to the great majority of people. To make sure of students seriousness, you will probably have to pay for some of these formations. Open cycles of conferences will be proposed when, for example, a personality will come or other events.

It is important to know that WU does not want to substitute to any organization or official structure of teaching. So, WU will not give diploma or other “title” but simply wishes to become a place of reception and knowledge. WU would wish to be close to E-learning structures in order to both develop their activities via Second Life (video, audio, etc).

Wexler University wants to prove that Second Life is a new world without frontiers.
