Sinatra Cartier sings out for War Child International

Evoluon presents Sinatra Cartier Live ! A night of "Music and Peace" benefiting War Child International, on december 11th at 7 pm (SLT).

Frank Sinatra's performer, Rick Ellis (Sinatra Cartier in Second Life) http://www.sinatra.bz will perform live on the stage in Evoluon. He will be doing requests of Sinatra songs and his own favourites and encourage people to make donations to War Child that night.

War Child International is a network of independent organisations working across the world to help children affected by war.

The pink for the life

On October 9th and 10th, 2007, in Hotel Dassault-Artcunial on Champs Elysees (Paris) will take place an exhibition and blows in bid exceptional of pink objects of big mark, creators and of designers.

Come on the Island Elyseum to visit the exceptional exhibition and the pink sale of objects of big marks of creators and designers. Attend from 8:00 AM SLT (5:00 PM Paris hours) a concert of big Artists ( rl / sl ) come voluntarily to support the IGR for the fight against the breast cancer.

Darfur

Saverino Benelli believes there can be more to Second Life than pose balls and unbridled capitalism. Mr. Benelli has donated land and has created a group to present a concert to help the west Sudanese country of Darfur. For several years now, that country has been in throes of revolution and government retaliation. Amnesty International has been involved with a variety of programs (www.amnesty.org) Mr. Benelli’s group is setting up a Second Life account for the benefit; the funds in the account, when translated to actual cash, will be sent to Amnesty International.
